General Information about us:
Erie’s Rattlesnake Island (Ohio) is an 85-acre island located 60 miles northwest of Cleveland near Put-In-Bay, the popular South Bass Island resort town. Rattlesnake Island is one and a half to two hours away from both ClevelandDetroit and is easily accessible by boat or plane. The Island is the home to Rattlesnake Island Club (RIC), a seasonal private country club resort with only 65 members. The nearest largest city to Rattlesnake Island is Sandusky, which has a shopping mall, a movie theater, as well as one of the biggest amusement parks in the world – Cedar Point.
Every season (May-September) we are looking for employees, just like you,
to comprise our high quality staff:
- 1 Boutique sales person with very good English skills
- 1 Bartender with very good English skills
- 1 Wine Steward with very good English skills
- 4 servers with very good English skills
- 4 kitchen staff with good English skills
- 4 maintenance staff with good English skills
- 3 housekeepers with good English skills
Relevant work experience is highly beneficial, especially for restaurant/bar, boutique, and kitchen staff, though on-site training will be provided for each position.

- Good English skills, especially verbal

- Outgoing and friendly personality (especially for restaurant/bar and boutique positions)

- Preferably 21 years of age at the time of employment or older
- Relevant work experience preferred

How to apply:
Students should contact the General Manager via phone and/or e-mail and provide the Manager with a resume (CV) including a photo of oneself. References are welcome as well. A telephone (or personal) interview will follow up. If a student is selected, then he/she will receive an official Job Offer/Contract and be given all the details regarding location, transportation, accommodation, pay, special benefits, etc. The Manager will also answer all the questions that thestudent may have, as well as provide relevant employment documents (“Employee Welcome Letter”, “Employee Handbook on Rules, Policies, and Regulations", and specific “Work Procedures” for each position) that should be read carefully as they are intended to benefit the student and prepare him/her for the job.
